奥斯陆大学(http://www.uio.no)成立于1811年，校址在首都奥斯陆。奥斯陆大学是挪威最大最古老的一所大学，也是一所重要的学术院校。现在奥斯陆大学有27700名学生（包括获得博士学位的学生），来自世界各地的国际学生大约有2000名，大学的教员大约有4700名。奥斯陆大学有8个学院，56个系，还有许多诊所，研究中心和博物馆。奥斯陆大学曾培养了4名诺贝尔奖的得主，这显示了他研究的实力。该校在2016年上海交通大学世界大学学术排行榜上位于第67位。。
奥斯陆大学现设有8个学院，即神学院、法学院、医学院、人文学院、数学与自然科学学院、牙科医学院、社会科学学院和教育学院。其中神学院为历史最悠久的学院，而成立于1996年的教育学院则是最年轻的学院。附设植物园、北欧古代文物珍藏馆、古币陈列室，以及植物学、人种学、矿藏与地质、古生物学、动物学等博物馆。经费由国家提供，免收学费。
英文授课的硕士项目：
♦相关专业学士学位（必须本科已经毕业的学生才可以申请，大四在读学生不能申请的），雅思6.5以上或托福90分及以上
♦硕士项目后面的数字是1为一年制，2为两年制
♦申请时间为10月1日至12月1日，开学时间为8月
♦全部课程免费，每学期注册费500挪威克朗（大约70欧元）
